Attractions:

Salt Lake City is nestled in front of the Wasatch Mountain Range that is home to some of the best skiing in the world. Information on several ski areas can be obtained by following the links below: Alta Ski Area, Brighton Ski Area, The Canyons, Park City Mountain Resort, Snowbird Ski Area, Solitude Mountain Resort.  For those who would like to stay for some outdoor winter recreation after the meeting, we will help coordinate groups who might like to go downhill or cross country skiing, snowboarding, or snowshoeing together on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  


For spouses/significant-others or family members who travel with meeting attendees, there are a number of nearby attractions in Salt Lake City to visit.  On the University of Utah campus, within a 5 minute walk of the meeting location, are the Utah Museum of Natural History with a world-class collection of dinosaur and native American artifacts and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts are also within walking distance of the conference site.  Within a few miles of campus and accessible by light rail or bus are Utah’s Hogle Zoo, the Salt Lake County Planetarium and IMAX Theater, and the Family History Library of the LDS (Mormon) Church, which has genealogical records and is open to the public for research.
