Interests

To get better acquainted, I am from the small town of Dunmore, Pennsylvania, and I came to the University of Utah to receive a solid education in chemistry, as well as to ski the “Greatest Snow on Earth.” In addition to skiing, I enjoy fishing, watching the Utes, and touring the many awesome National Parks Utah has to offer. Upon completing my bachelor’s degree, I hope to go to medical school and specialize in oncology.

The focus of my current research project is synthesizing and characterizing high quality semiconductor nanocrystals (quantum dots).
