Becky is originally from West Linn, Oregon. Becky
was an undergraduate at Oregon State University, where she graduated
with an Honors B.S. in Chemistry.
Becky's focus in the Burrows lab is studying
Y family polymerases, such as polymerase eta, in order to determine
if these replicative polymerases can bypass the OG oxidation products:
Gh and Sp.
Outside of the lab Becky spends reading, hiking,
and petting the neighbor's cats.
